Both the Feilding Transfer Station and the Central Transfer Station in Palmerston North will accept recyclable materials. There are public drop-off facilities on site. Generally we will accept any of the materials below - if there is anything that you are uncertain about, ring the Transfer Station first : Palmerston North 3555 680 / Feilding 323 2614.

What can I recycle?

We accept any of these recyclable goods:

• Steel
• Wood
• White ware
• LPG Bottles
• Glass

NOTE:

There is a price for dropping off recyclable materials; this fluctuates a fair bit depending upon the cost to us to store the stuff, transport it & drop it off at the recyclers. Commodity prices for all the materials mentioned vary quite a bit and this impacts upon the cost to us for providing you with an opportunity to divert materials from the waste stream.
